A lot of you put reading in the intro quiz. What do you read?
Are you reading anything now? Or recently finished?
Re: Reading Poll
I just got done reading the "Millenium" trilogy. Starts with the "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo". I thought they were excellent books. I've also read some Harlan Coben books lately. And of course, I'm a Twilight fan.
Right now I have "The Carrie Diaries" on my Kindle - it's OK. a very easy, light read.
I'm almost done Carnal Innocence by Nora Roberts. Then I'm starting True Colors by Kristin Hannah.
I loved Emily Griffin's series Something Borrowed, etc. I will probably read Heart of the Matter after True Colors.
I've been on the fence about The Carrie Diaries...I guess it won't be too high on the priority list now!
2012 Reading Challenge
I love to read. I'm all over the place with my choices too. I just finished reading Sh*t My Dad Says. It was hilarious! I think I'm going to read That Old Cape Magic by Richard Russo next.
I also highly recommend getting an e-reader. I've read so much more since I've got the Nook because I just download the next book instead of having to make a run to the bookstore. (And the books are cheaper.)
Love my Kindle!
Isn't the Millenium book good? I thought they were very well-written and entertaining.
I love to read (I have my BA in English Lit) but I only really enjoy reading non-fiction. The last book I read was "Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide."
I also like biographies and autobiographies -- but only ones that are historical in nature (I read a lot of Holocaust/WWII memoirs).
I just can't get myself into using my imagination when I read.
I'm hooked on the Scarpetta series by Patricia Cornwell. I am also getting into the Women's Murder Club series by James Patterson.
I'll pick up a Nicholas Sparks book if I need a good cry and have enjoyed a few of Catherine Coulter's books.
