I missed your reponse on Wed and didn't see it till today, but I just wanted you to know that I know exactly what you are going through. My grandma was the SAME way, and unfortunatley, it really hasn't gotten better with her, just easier for the family.
She'll get better for a month or so and then worse again. But all you can do is be stable for her and strong for your mom. Hey- atleast you aren't moving to where your grandma is a few weeks after they move her out like I did!
Feel free to msg me or anything even if it is just to vent- it's tough!

Hey! I just saw this since I've been in New Jersey all weekend. The move went ok. We managed to fit all the furniture she wanted to take which was a small miracle since she wouldn't get rid of ANYTHING.
Anytime someone mentioned Sunrise, the assisted living place, she'd start dry heaving. We weren't too sympathetic though and just told her to get over it! She spent her first night there last night and it supposedly went well. We did make her eat a few meals there over the weekend while we all were unpacking. Their dining rooms are small rooms that only have 4 tables that hold 4 people each. They sat her with 3 other very sweet ladies so I hope that helps her. The staff at this place is absolutely amazing and incredibly friendly.
Thanks for the offer to vent! If I had seen this over the weekend you might have had a PM full of my frustrations (not only with my grandmother but with my aunts also)! It seemed to be getting better though so we'll see.
