Not sure if your photographer is offering these, but ours is asking 600 dollars to get our dvd of photos and/or 700 dollars for an album....
So we decided to make our own! (not to mention I'd like to include some of the non-pro pics)
weddingpaperdivas.com is one I've found so far that seems good...
anyone else have any ideas?
Re: Photo Albums
I used blurb.com I got my album yesterday and LOVE it. I like their site because you can stretch a picture across 2 pages (a feature I don't think shutterfly has) plus there is a set price for pages over 20. Our book ended up being 55 pages, and it cost around $75.
I have used shutterfly before as well, but I loved the freedom of editing all the pages.
You can look at my book here:

I must say, your blurb photo book is beautiful! You may have sold me on using this for our photo book.
aww thank you ladies. I have used shutterfly for other projects and love it, but I thought our wedding photos deserved something a little more custom. Plus I found the photo upload process to be much faster especially since I used 160+ pictures.
Like I said, I love being able to stretch pictures across 2 pages & it allows you to edit the photo boxes, move them, and resize them if you want. I just think blurb allows you more control over your photobook.
Plus I received my book before the scheduled shipment date, so that was exciting.
Thanks for the tips!
We already paid our photographer $1000 plus it will be another 600 for the photos (less than 100).
Not giving him any more money!
That album is incredible! Your wedding looks so beautiful! I will definitely check it out when we order our album!!
Thank you ladies
I find myself looking over our book all the time still! It definitely has helped me get over the 'wedding blues.'
Now I just want to go back to Vegas!
my in-laws want to make their own album, so I'm def going to tell them about blurb! how awesome! did you get the book yet? How was the quality of the photos in print?
Yes, I got my book Saturday. It wasn't suppose to ship until July 5th, and I got it on the 3rd, so that was cool.
The book is great quality! I actually had to use scanned photos for the ceremony shots & they had a warning that the quality might not be great, and even those pages turned out great. I seriously love my book
