RP: Prayers Please & please be careful...
Hey ladies, I hate to post and run but today is just crazy.
A friend of my dad could use some prayers. My dad received a phone call at 1a.m from his friend's wife saying said friend had gone fishing and hadn't returned. His boat washed onto shore last night, but there are not really any other clues as to what happened.
Would you please
pray that the Coast Guard would have keen eyes and knowledge as they
look for him. Also, that his body be recovered, no matter what the
condition. I can't imagine the "what's" that are running through his
wife's mind. Last but not least, that my dad would have peace. He went
fishing with this man all the time. I think he may feel slightly
guilty he was not with him this time "to save him".
This man knew the ocean well, so he wasn't ill prepared. Please be careful this weekend if you are going boating!

That's so terrible. This same thing happened to some students at my alma matter a few years back. It's just so, so sad.

He has a place in Ocean Isle. However, his boat was found washed ashore at Myrtle Beach. The Coast Guard called off the search Saturday night. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers!
