Has everyone recovered from a 3 day weekend?
I love that it's Tuesday already but it was much harder than normal to get out of bed this morning. That's what I get for staying up so late the past 3 nights. I also work the other job tonight too so it's gonna be a long day but I should be busy since I was off yesterday. That should make it go by faster at least.

Good morning! I'm back at work today after a long four days off (well, basically four days off - kind of 3 and a half).
We went out Friday and got an awesome deal on a new fridge. They had a french door fridge with the freezer bottom on clearance at Lowes, plus an extra 20% off because it was a Whirlpool Gold, plus we got the 10% military discount. Over all, we ended up paying less than half price for the fridge. It was delivered and I now have cold milk! Yay!
We had a cookout with some friends last night and stayed up wayyyy too late. I need a nap.

For some reason we decided that there is no better weekend then a holiday weekend to paint. So, we now have a nice painted kitchen and I'm SO happy that it's done. I'm freakin tired and sore but it was well worth it.
What color did you paint it? I think it would be a great idea to post pics....I don't think we've ever seen any pics of your new place. Shame shame!
That's probably because our hallway still isn't painted and it's quiet embarrassing! Oh, and we need new bedroom furniture and new couches and a new TV. We are working hardcore to get all this stuff taken care of before Emily's birthday so I don't have to be ashamed of having people over.

We had a great long weekend with lots of fun. We went on a Chicago history/architecture boat tour and then to the Taste on Friday. Sat we went shopping at a local town and I started buying Christmas presents then off to a BBQ. Sunday we decided to mulch to front and back flower beds and plant some hydrangia's. After that we did some swimming and had a BBQ at home. Then yesterday we went to the local horse racetrack and had a nice relaxing evening.
And I put this in my facebook status but...Declan started walking this weekend! He took a few steps for MH and BIL and I missed it since I was at the grocery store...but then on Sunday we got him to do it again and he's practicing at walking more. Give him a week and I bet he'll be running
Morning ladies. We had a good weekend and so far the visit with my parents has been great i havent thought about the whole situation going on which is fine with me i really need that right now. PT at home is going so so. There are two exercises that just make him scream so bad i cant stand it
My right arm is getting a crazy work out because i generally lay him on the other side and do everything with my left arm and now we have to rotate him to the other side for his tort. So my arm is killing me!!
Congrats Declan on the steps! Michelle- I love that color when we redo our kitchen in the fall i want a green that is very similar to that color! Love it!!
Good Morning! We had a very laid back weekend, accomplished nothing but laundry for the week
. The most exciting thing was when a 4 inch spider crawled out of our toaster yesterday! Scared me to death! So we sprayed around the house.

Kristin, that's great that he is starting to walk! I'm sure he is very proud of himself.
Jess, I hate spiders! They creep me out no matter what size/shape/color they are! I had a lazy weekend too and sometimes I feel guilty for not doing much but then again it was so nice to just relax.
