I lurk on the health and fitness board and saw the post on before and after weight loss photos. I didn't know you lost so much weight over the past few years. Had you always been working out or did you just really get into it in the last few years? I still pretty much hate the gym but I try to go everyday. I have enjoyed spinning though.

  • To be honest, I never ever worked out until I turned about 26 or so.  Is pathetic, but true.  I am 31 now, so its been about 5 years, the last 4 years I really took my health more seriously.

    I went through a pretty bad breakup that made me realize that I need to take care of myself and not everyone else for once.

    I started little by little and now I am a working out machine Wink  The first 15 pounds came off in about 5 months and the rest took another year or so.  I think I lost about 35-40lbs over-all.

    I could stand to lose another 10lbs which I could do if I gave up drinking on the weekends and sneaking pizza now and again, but I need to live!! LOL!!

    I took spin for 2 years before getting certified.  My instructor encouraged me and I finally took the plunge!
