Back from a long weekend!
How was everyone's holiday weekend? Ours was great! We left for our camping trip Friday after work and didn't get home until 9pm Sunday. We had a blast, I'm really glad we went! HH had to work yesterday while I was off so I got all of the house cleaning, laundry and grocery shopping done. Then we spent the evening relaxing on the couch and watching the Bachelorette. I tried checking in yesterday but HH called and said he was on his way home so I had to start dinner. I hope you girls had as great a weekend and I did. I really hate that its over, but back to the real world!

Ours was good, but busy! My brother-in-law and his wife spent Friday night at our place on their way up to visit their parents. Matt worked Saturday, so I went for a run, hit the mall, and saw Eclipse. We just hung out that night. Sunday was church, a brief (hallelujah!) visit to Matt's mom, and then hanging out with my best friend and her husband the rest of the day. They had a big box of Ohio fireworks (PA is stupid), and we had a blast. Literally.
Yesterday my brother came over and the three of us went to the amusement park just down the road (Matt and I have season passes because of the pool, and yesterday was bring-a-buddy-free day). Then we drove up to the lake for my extended family's picnic, and I got to go water skiing. Matt is thinking about trying to learn.
It was awesome - I flew out to San Franscisco last Thur to meet DH. We toured Alcatraz on Friday, met my cousin for lunch, then drove up to Napa Valley for the rest of the wknd. We toured wineries, enjoyed a couple of nice dinners, and took the Wine Train for 4th of July dinner and fireworks.
I flew home last night and am missing the wknd already!
I'm the same way... I HATE going to the theater... I think it's just my anxiety that makes it so difficult for me... I don't like people I don't know sitting that close to me. It makes me freak out. I may get Adam to take me to see it after all the hype has died down, so there won't be any crowds. I saw the first two in theater... Adam's mom made a big deal about us seeing New Moon together and then I slept through the entire movie... whoops. I felt like such a jackass.
I understand what you mean by this! I don't like people I don't know touching me - like I was on planes all wknd flying back and forth from CT to CA, etc and I hate when a stranger's arm touches mine in the next seat. Ew.
YES!!! I hate that!! What's even worse though??? A stranger's HAIR touching me!! I went to a concert once and this girl kept flipping her super-long hair all over the place and I was REALLLLLY tempted to light her hair on fire.
I actually wanted to go opening weekend so it would be mostly Twi-hards. I would rather be surrounded by people who are slightly off-balance but hanging on every word than have to listen to soccer moms yak on their cell phones the whole time. I have an EXTREMELY low tolerance for theater rudeness.
The theater was only half-full, though, and there were still plenty of soccer moms. Nobody was too bad, thankfully. Eclipse is definitely the best of the three movies. It has its cringe-moments, but overall, it's pretty good, and Edward finally seemed a little bit more like he is in the books (i.e., not slow in the head).
Haven't read the books YET, but I'm OBSESSED with True Blood. My fave show ever!!!!!
My weekend was lame. I worked the whole time. But I watched the Bachelorette last night
I love the Bachelorette! I know its cheesy, but I can't help it! I was really surprised when she got rid of Ty last night. Chris L is my favorite, but I thought for sure him or Kirk were going home. Btw what did you think of the Jake/Vienna interview at the end? I never liked Vienna, but after seeing that last night I believe her story. Jake acted like a real jerk in my opinion.

This is a great season! I never liked Vienna. I still think she's being a big fat drama queen. But he acted REALLY ugly too. They're both idiots IMO lol
