How was your weekend?
Happy day after the 4th! How was your weekend?
I'm working today because I'm taking some time off at the end of this week.
Our weekend was good, but really busy. We had a wedding to go to out of town on Saturday and yesterday a family reunion. Everything was fun, but I was wishing for more time to hang out by the pool and read.

Mine was great- the weather here was so nice- chilly in the mornings and evenings, warm all day. Very unusual. We hung out with good friends yesterday/last night and today we have lunch plans with some other ones, DH is doing some yard work (involving chemicals so I have to stay in) so I will do some laundry and other boring stuff later on.
Sorry you had to work, that sucks! But yay for time off later on instead :-)
We had an awesome weekend - went to my parents' cottage in Maine and spent lots of the weekend in the lake. Thank god, because man was it hot! I am dreading being home the next few days when it stays that hot haha.
I keep forgetting that today is Monday...
The weekend was great! We had a pretty relaxed day on Saturday, and we had a family party on Marshfield and then spent the night on the beach in Hull for fireworks on Sunday! Today I went with D74 to the Wrentham Outlets - it was my first time there - and other than the oppressive heat, we had a blast!
You'll be taking that back in about an hour. Hahahaha
I was actually commenting to DH at the airport about how it doesn't feel humid here at all compared to where we just came from. It's all relative I guess. Too bad we brought some of the extreme Barbados' weather back with us, but I still think it's worse there--it's like walking through soup.
Weekend was pretty good! We were in Maine-- at our place on a lake for most of it (lost power on Sunday for a few hours... in the middle of lobster dinner- quite messy!). We spend the afternoon at my ILs place on Sunday and then the afternoon on Monday at their cottage on a pond before we drove home.
All & all good weekend! Great start to the summer but bloody hot!
The funniest moment was my DAD beating one of DH's friends in beer pong!! (Our friend is a big partier and insisted that we set up a table.) He had never played before and is not a huge drinker.
Our weekend was busy, as always.
Saturday we had a bunch of errands, we continued staining/waterproofing our deck, and had dinner out.
Sunday we had 2 bbqs to go to.
Monday we had to repaint our front door because the builder used indoor paint and it chipped a bunch of the winter. And we made homemade raviolis for dinner.
