they have everything under the sun and i'm totally overwhelmed. i don't really *need* anything right now so I could save it for something but its burning a whole in my pocket

$54 for a spaghetti tester?? The idea is cool, but no way I could spend that much money on that, haha.
I would probably get some kind of serving ware type stuff because I like hosting people at my house or some kind of kitchen storage/organization things.

No, I would not spend $54 on a utensil to pull one strand of spaghetti out of the pot for testing, even with a gift card! Nest, meet sarcasm.
I prefer the tried and true method of scooping a heap with the spaghetti server, pulling out a scalding hot noodle, tossing it back and forth between my hands a few times and popping it in my mouth.
