Anyone got a DH brag?
This may seem like the lamest thing in the world to brag about, but I was excited. Yesterday, my husband did laundry. I started using a lingerie bag for my nylons because my nylons have a very short lifespan... and it's getting expensive.
Without me even mentioning it to him, my husband automatically used the lingerie bag with my nylons. I was astounded, and promised him that I would brag to "the hens" about him. (He jokingly refers to all women on thenest.com to be "hens" - not meant to be demeaning.)
So who has a DH brag to share?
Re: DH Brag
Eeek. crawl spaces = spider land. Mad props to your DH for that one.
He's always saying how I should go down there, and how it's "pretty cool." OKAY weirdo....
Called H on the way home from work and asked what he wanted me to get for dinner from the store. He said don't worry about it, just come home and we'll figure something out (I was annoyed by this because we live in the boondocks and it takes forever to go home then drive all the way back to the store). When I got home he was grilling kabobs, had the table set and told me to just sit and eat my salad while he finished up dinner
What a great surprise!
I can brag, but it's a daily occurrence... I'm a lucky lady!
My DH cooks every meal for us. Unless we're eating out or just having cereal or something dumb because we're not very hungry, he cooks a real meal every night. And it's delicious! Tonight we had bowtie pasta with asparagus, sausage, onion, topped with cheese and a fried egg. I know the egg sounds weird, but it's delish! A couple days ago, he slow cooked ribs for like 5 hours and made his own dry rub on them. Yum!
I do the dishes after each meal and we both think we got the better end of the deal! Like I said, I'm a lucky lady!
