Baby Shower Location in Albany?

I am throwing a baby shower for my sister-in-law and I am at a loss for a good place to have it.  There are only going to be at most 10 adults, 2 little girls and 2 babies.  The mom-to-be is a tea enthusiast and did not have a food preference when I asked.  Also, I have been looking online and a lot of sites say that you can just go out to a restaurant and word the invitation to say "dessert and drinks will be provided" and have everyone pay for their own lunch.  That sounds tacky to me.  Do people really do that?

Suggestions?

  • if its small like that I honestly would just have it at someone's house.. I had a small shower like that for a friend and I just did it in my backyard.
