First thing tomorrow I'm going to a new ladyparts doctor for a second opinion. I found out a couple months ago that I have pretty bad cervical dysplasia, I read somewhere that 30-50% of cases turn into cervical cancer. The last doctor I went to basically made it sound terrible like I could get cancer any day, and then told me to come back in 6 months for a pap! So I said WTF LADY and now I'm going to my mom's doctor, who is supposed to be really really good (my mom has had tons of issues, cysts and polyps and eventually a hysterectomy). I'm hoping that she won't want to wait, and that I'll be able to get it treated soon. Not that I'm excited for either lasers being shot up my coochie or having my cervix pretty much burned off with an electrified loop of metal, but I'd rather take action and prevent getting cancer you know!?! Haha.
Re: Wish me luck!
Hayley (I totally want to call you Hay-Bales - that is what we call my friend Haley, so I find it really awkward to say Hayley. And yes I say Hayley when I type it. In my mind.)
Anyway. Hayley. (Hay-Bales. Ahem.) I hope that everything goes well with your new doc. That is a pretty traumatizing thing to have to go through, but it is really really really common. I speak from experience. Since finding out that I have cervical dysplasia, I have found out that SO MANY of my friends have had the exact same thing. Even my MIL had this done. Keep us updated on how it goes, and how you're feeling, k?
xx
Actually I am hoping for lasers! Haha it seems to be the easiest on your body, and doesn't have as much lasting effects. I just want to get it all taken care of! I first found out I had an abnormal pap back in like early March!
Good luck and .....vag vibes? LOL Sure I'll send you some of those.
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
If you were in my shoes, you'd fall the first step."
Vag vibes!
Hope you don't get a laser up in your youknowwhat

Good luck! It's odd that your doc told you to wait another 6 months - most docs are all, get those crazy cells out now!
I had a LEEP last October, and it wasn't too bad. If you have any questions about it, send me a PM
