Update: thoughts & prayers please

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let you know we got a call shortly before 5am (EST) this morning that DH's dad passed away. It is definitely bittersweet. On one hand it is hard to say goodbye but on the other hand we know he is no longer suffering. This is going to be an interesting week as we will be planning a funeral for later this week and Ayden is getting baptized on Sunday. Please continue to keep us in your T&P. Thanks ladies.

DH's in shock right now. He's over at his parent's house now & I'm going over after I take my car in for a flat. I know he's said goodbye to him already but I think it will take a few weeks for it to finally sink in that he really is gone.

I'm so sorry for your family's loss. I will have you all in my prayers this week. Hopefully DH will be able to take some comfort in knowing that he's at peace and comfortable, finally.

I'm so very sorry for your and DH's loss. I hope seeing Ayden baptized will bring some peace and comfort to the whole family as well -- a moment of joy during a time of sadness, I find, is always a welcome thing.
