Favorite Beer/Wine: Beer - I only like crappy beer, specifically Corona (I know - I KNOW!). Wine - generally I prefer reds, but I like some whites. I don't have a specific varietal that's my favorite - it depends on my mood.
Weirdest place you've ever had sex: I don't know if it really counts as weird since a lot of people do it, but in the ocean.
Do you like your IL's (be honest!): Ummmm...lol the ladies here know I have some history with MIL dating back to our wedding planning days.
Anyway, yes, for the most part I do get along with them and even like them. MIL is actually very kind and sweet but can often also be VERY overbearing (she's always right in her mind and will try to railroad straight over you to get her way with something), so I constantly have to keep boundaries in place with her. It's tough because then she thinks I'm cold/dislike her/am a b!tch/whatever (because of course it could never be anything she does lol), but it's necessary for my sanity, especially now that we have kids!
Best/most annoying quality about DH: He doesn't put dirty clothes in the hamper. On top of the lid, sure. Next to the hamper, yes. On the floor in front of it, all the time. But in it? Nope! Drives me craaaaazy!
ETA: Oooops! I forgot to write Ben's best quality! It's hard to pick, because he has a lot of awesome ones.
But I would say it's how supportive and encouraging he is.
OMG, which burb? We were in Chicago this past weekend for a reunion with a bunch of college friends (I went to Northwestern). We stayed with my friend who lives in Evanston and went to watch the fireworks at the park in Wilmette! We also watched the Evanston parade. Good times!

Best/most annoying quality about DH: Best - he's completely thoughtful, understanding and supportive (especially with my job which takes up a lot of my time). Worst - he's very forgetful and, like Malia, he requires a detailed list for the simplest of tasks.

Do you like your IL's (be honest!): Meh. I used to get along with my MIL fantastically but since I've had the baby she's changed and gets on my nerves now. I love her husband though, he's great. My FIL is an ass and we don't talk at all. His wife is nice, but I don't talk to her either. They live in Las Vegas so thankfully it's not a huge issue.
Best/most annoying quality about DH: DH is the most giving and loving man I've ever known. He's genuinely nice and goes out of his way to help people. He's also wickedly funny and makes me laugh every day. Not much annoys me about him...sometimes I get frustrated that he's not much of a multitasker, but I think that a lot of women might feel that way about their hubby. Perhaps it's a "men are from mars, women are from venus" thing?

Cool! I live in Deerfield, and was actually just in Evanston on Friday. Too bad we didn't know, we could have met up! MH worked all weekend, so I was on my own this 4th. Of course, it was dreadfully hot, so I didn't mind staying mostly indoors in the A/C.

Do you like your IL's (be honest!): yes. in the beginning things were strained - they felt that I stole their son away. he dated his HS sweetheart for 8 years and even if they didn't love her they like the fact that that relationship tied him to his hometown. We started dating (after him and the ex were long broken up) and less than 3 months later he knew he was going to move to my home state. Regardless of the fact that he was planning to never move home I got blamed. I think they have started to come to terms with him living here because he is so happy with me and our new little family of 3
Best/most annoying quality about DH: he makes it his priority to make me happy. he is a great dad.
annoying things... ugh, he is SOOOO bad about getting up. snooze button is his best friend. i usually just let him sleep in and deal with the consequences (if any) but now that he has to take jack to daycare he needs to be up and mostly ready by the time I leave b/c he can't just leave Jack to fend for himself while he finishes getting ready.

Do you like your IL's (be honest!): Yeah, I really do love & adore them, sickening I know. They're my Canuckian mom and dad. Sometimes I need to exercise a little patience with them but name me a family that doesn't need to do this with each other from time to time.
Best/most annoying quality about DH: He's constantly thinking of beautiful things to do for me. He spoils me rotten! He's very proactive to a fault.
Some of his female friends describe him as 'like the gay-best-friend who is actually completely heterosexual' because he just 'gets' women. He offers great advice to them when they're having b/f/husband trouble, he gives great style advice to them when they take him shopping etc haha.
Annoying: He embellishes a lot. Furthermore, I could tell him a story of something I heard happen to someone else...or I could tell him something funny I did that day...and a few months later he'll be telling that story to someone else (or even ME) but replacing the person in that story with himself, as if it happened to him. He forgets I'm the one who told him the story lol!
I actually think he doesn't do that deliberately either lol.
He also thinks 'playing with the kids' involves putting Samara on the playmat/cradle swing and saying "Hiiiiii" to her and Maya once every 10 mins.

Best/most annoying quality about DH: DH is super-caring, hardworking, and patient. The most annoying quality (same as Malia) is that he is very detail-oriented and needs things explained to a T. It gets really annoyiing sometime. Something else he does--he leaves plastic bags (like ones from the grocery store) tied in a knot on the kitchen counter. Either use your reusable shopping bag or put it away! Hhaha...

Do you like your IL's (be honest!): For the most part yes. They all have their good/bad qualities. MIL can be extremely overbearing but means well. They all have accepted me as a daughter from day one and this makes me so blessed.
Best/most annoying quality about DH: Best - He loves me unconditionally, has a bizzar sense of humor, and goes out of his way to make me happy. Worst - Horrible sense of style and doesn't care to correct it. Fake laughs sometimes and it drives me insane because it's really fake and really intense. Don't know why he does it.

Do you like your IL's (be honest!): No MIL is a beotch. hate her and would hit her with my car. I am a nice person too but she has only seen my son twice in is 2 1/2 years and hasn't seen him or my DH in over a year (she only lives 45 min away). She doesn't call DH or son for Xmas, Birthday, nothing. I don't understand behavior like this esp when I am a mother. There was never a fight between us or anything. She is just wrapped up in her own world and acting young I suppose.
Best/most annoying quality about DH: That he spends money without thinking as I always look/use a coupon. Annoys me that he doesnt feel guilty about that. lol Also he can be too strict on our son. I think it is his rank/profession (law enforcement and military) but I dont give a crap.
