Anyone been on a Cape Ann Whale Watch? Other Gloucester recs?
I bought a Groupon a little while ago and DH, my sister, my mom, and I are going on the tour in a couple of weeks--I'm excited!
What else should we check out while up in Gloucester? I don't know the area at all, and if it's worth it DH and I would consider staying at a B&B for the night and just hanging out in the area.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: Anyone been on a Cape Ann Whale Watch? Other Gloucester recs?
I love Gloucester! I was just up there yesterday at Good Harbor beach (got a WICKED bad sunburn, ouch!).
A great restaurant for lunch or dinner is Latitude 43 on Rogers St. It has a fancy dining room, casual bar, and sushi bar in the middle. For pizza, I love Valentino's on Main St. Also, Cap'n Carlos is great for seafood.
For a relaxing beach (without the hefty cost of parking) I like going to Stage Fort Park. It's a little bit secluded so the beach doesn't get too crowded. There's also some rocks that are fun to climb around. And if you can venture out towards Beverly, the best ice cream out there is Captain Dusty's.
I have only been on one out of P Town but it was in July one year and we saw SO many whales! I think this is a good time of year to go!
PS- it was very cold once out on the water.
Laina, thanks for the food recs! You totally know my interests
D74LeadinLady, definitely let me know how you like it.
Punky, thanks for the reminder about temps. I'll be sure to layer up.
