WTF I finished my first "real" knitting project last night, and only after I cast off the final row do I see 3, 3!!! dropped stiches in the middle!

My Nest Bio and Cycling Advice
I learned by following along with some videos on YouTube. The basic stitches are fairly easy to get down, and then it's just a matter of practice. I like it becuase once you get it down, you can watch TV or talk and just knit along without much thought. It's relaxing and productive at the same time! (except when you see dropped stitches 3 rows down and your have to undo all that work! But that's a beginners issue that goes away with experience) A local yarn shop has an open knit night, so I'll be going to those to get free pointers and tips from the more experienced ladies that go to those sorts of things.

Google "ring guard" or "ring wrap." They are easy to put on yourself and are usually a few dollars.

Yep--I used one in the winter, any of the mall jewelers will put one on for free and clean your ring too.

Yes! For a girl who doesn't knit, you sure are into the chic-knit-lit! I knit, but not so much a reader anymore. Sadness. No wonder I'm dumber than my 18 year old self.
My ex bff does that, DRIVES.ME.INSANE. She actually did it when she got her B.A. and now she does it with her Masters too. It looks like this:

No one cares! I have a B.A. but I don't go around tooting my horn! Most people have a bachelor's degree now-a-days. People with high school diplomas don't write FirstName LastName, H.S. Diploma lol
