Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Yay! wedding planning again!!
I got a call from my little sister last night ? her bf proposed! I am soo excited for them! I haven't gotten a lot of details yet, but I am super excited to help her plan her wedding!
For those of you who have helped to plan weddings after your own, did you enjoy it? How is it different??

Wedding planning for me now is kind of hilarious. Because as a "been there, done that" neurotic bride, it's so clear to me know which things were so dumb to obsess over and worry about. It's far less stressful NOT being the bride. On the flipside of that, it's easy to lose sight of the "zomg so happy/so stressed/so many things to do!!!" enthusiasm because you're coming from a much more logic-based mindframe.

Good point - I caught myself a few times when my sister was stressed over something and I just wanted to say don't worry about it - no one will care but it was important to her and I didnt want to rain on her parade.

ditto.. I am planning a friends wedding right now, it's fun and i am ecstatic for her, but i have lost the giddy wedding planning thing, i wouldnt tell her that, not to mention the other MOH is being a b1tch, shes trying to do everything she can to be a better MOH and friend than i am.. its getting very old. wedding is in 6 weeks though!
