Airfare Deals?!? HELP!

We got a great deal on a condo from July 17th through July 24th in Myrtle Beach, I would much rather fly than drive....a lot less hours!! Spirit has pretty good deals on flights, but I was wondering if anyone else knew of better deals or where I could check into? and I am sure Ashton would be free since he is 8 months old, but I am not sure about Ava, she is 2.

Re: Airfare Deals?!? HELP!

  • MB isn't that far. Would it be easier to drive, especially w/ two little ones. We have flown several times w/ the kids. The most recent was to FL in Feb. and it really was a PITA. I had strollers and car seats & diaper bags. It was really really stressful.

I would say that Spirit is going to be your best bet to MB. I just got a $9 fare club email but no MB listed for the sale.

  • ... and yes you need to buy a seat for Ava since she is over 2 yrs.
  • I just got an email that said AirTran was having a $49 sale.

    I got it from bookingbuddy,com.

  • I usually search kayak.com for airfare. Depending on the airline you fly you also need to think about how much it is going to cost you to check bags. You will have to check car seats (unless kids have a seat and use it on plane, and only kids under 2 fly free). Depending what you decide to bring you could have to check strollers, booster seats, PNP, etc.

When we were looking for flights to CO for this summer we found some great deals then discovered it was $49 per checked bag and it was cheaper to go with the more expensive tickets
