I'm looking for an air/hotel package in Arizona. Here's the catch: I want to fly into Phoenix and I want the hotel to be in Sedona.
But when I search on Expedia and Orbitz for packages, it tries to make me fly into Flagstaff if I want a hotel in Sedona, or it wants me to get a Phoenix hotel if I fly into Phoenix. I can't figure out how to change either of these options.
Does anyone know of a web site where I can make this work? Or maybe I'm overlooking the option on Expedia or Orbitz? Thanks.
Re: Travel experts...
Completely unrelated, but I misspoke when I told you to look at Mayan Riviera cruises--I meant the Mexican Riviera (Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, etc). The "Mayan Riviera" is Cancun-area on the Atlantic side.
I have never booked air/hotel packages through any of those sites, but have you tried the "two cities" option? Or does that want to give you two flights?
ETA: I tried the two cities option and it looks like you need to have at least one night of hotel in Phoenix. I think in this case it will be easier to book air and hotel separately.
Ya, I think so too. I was just trying to beat the system.
I discovered that Travelocity has a feature where you can do this, but it's still not quite the way I want it.
Thanks for your help.
Haha... not quite. I'm still pricing things out, actually.
By the way, you all will be happy to hear that we are about 75% sure on our vacation destination for next year though, so I will spare you all this process next year.
Next year is Hawaii.
