  I did....the Wednesday after my wedding, I cut off about 8 inches. I had an up do for the wedding and now it is a short pixie. H really encouraged it and I am loving it!

  Not yet! I'm waiting another couple weeks, that way I'll just do my highlights when I get the haircut too. But other than being able to put it in pigtails/braids which are cute as helll, I'm hating having it this long! Time for a shorter do with more layers!

  I got mine cut the day after we came home from the HM.  She whacked about 3 inches off but it was so ling, it's still past my shoulders.

  Feels a LOT better.

  I'm actually not!  I really thought I would but I'm finally learned how to do stuff with long hair and I'm enjoying it.  Also, it's so humid here that my short hair style would just get funky/flip out instead of looking like it's proper style.  At least with long hair I can pin it into a bun on a bad day.  If I tired of it I'll probably cut a lot off in the fall.  We'll see!

  I wanted to right after the wedding, but now I have to wait until after we do our Rock the Dress shoot in August.  I'm hoping I'll get in between then and the honeymoon that's the week after, though, or my hair is going to be so annoying.

  I'm going to get it cut rather soon. I'm going to (hopefully) be going on some teaching interviews, etc. With my shorter hair, I at least don't look so young and it seems more professional.

  I was planning on it. When I met DH I had way shorter hair but decided to grow it out for the wedding.  Now DH loves the longer hair and I tried to explain to him that wavy hair in Houston in the summer ='s ugly frizzy hair.  So as a compromise he paid for me to get the Brazilian blowout and I love it!  I can get out of the shower let my hair air dry and it's great!

  Im hoping to get both mine & my daughters chopped this week! Her's has never been cut, just a single trim in 4 years & I've been growing mine out for a year & a half for the wedding. Im not doing anything huge, just cut to our shoulders for both of us. Should be a lot easier to tolerate with the heat.

  I had very short hair for such a long time, I love having longer hair. I do need to get it trimmed, however. I have been tempted to get it all chopped off, but H doesn't want me too and I a am afraid I might regret it. If anything, I will probably go the gradual route.   I actually decided I like it a longer than I used to keep it, but my stylist hasn't even let me trim it since January.  I'm getting it cut in a couple weeks- turn this shapeless mop into something a little more presentable.

  I'm SOOO on par with chopping my hair off, but just like having the ability to be lazy and just throw it in a pony, wet - straight outta the shower. When I cut it, I have to actually DO my hair, and sometimes, I just don't wanna!

  I always keep my hair long. At the very least shoulder length. When I go to get it cut I usually take off about 2-3 inches and refine my layers. I'll probably make an appointment sometime after the Aug HM.

  kmuthig What's a Brazilian Blowout? I have wavy/curly fizzy hair too.

  ugghhhh...TN just lost my post....

   

  We talked about this question a month or so before our weddings and it caused me to change my mind.  I WAS going to chop it and return to my usual chin-length bob.  But, then someone told me about the Brazilian blowout.  (msmoore this is a semi-permanent treatment that straightens/relaxes your hair for like 4 months)  I hesitated to do it because of cost (my stylist quoted me $300), but H talked me into it....I'm calling today to schedule the appointment!

  i have another month to wait...this way i can get my highlights touched up and my cut will be fresh before our trip to england and ireland. my last cut was in january and i really need at least 3 inches taken off. my hair is way too thin and straggly.

  I planned to right after the wedding, but I haven't gotten around to it.  DH loves my hair long, which is why I was growing it out, but it's almost to my waist.  It's curly so it frizzes and tangles in like 5 seconds.  I have to keep it somewhat long, at least to my shoulders, or is just sticks out sideways.  I plan on cutting however much it takes to donate and then go from there.

  msmoore, the Brazilian Blowout is a smoothing treatment that lasts 3-4 months.  You go into the salon and they put the solution on your hair and it the frizz is gone!  It's a little pricey but now I can get out of the shower and let it air dry and it's great.  It still has some wave but no frizz.  If I use a flat iron it's straight and doesn't wave up at all.

  I was planning on it, but my roomie (who is moving out Saturday, supposedly) stole my haircut!  I had had that previous style for two years before I started growing it out for the wedding.  Now I need a new short 'do so I don't look like I was copying HER.  :-/  Anyone have any ideas for cute short (but not TOO short) hair?

  I had about 8 inches cut off, layers added and highlights the week after we got back from the honeymoon.  I had been wanting to do it for a while but didn't want to do anything drastic before the wedding.
