  • Anyone done the Myers-Briggs personality assessment?
  • Not in a long time and don't remember anything about it.  There are some other personality tests too that I don't remember too much.

Here's my random.  You all must see ReturnofKuus's siggy pic: Huge bunny or tiny goat.  I vote tiny goat.  That thing is adorable!  Oh, to see it, go to "Relationships," and then to "Okay, I have to ask."

Yeah, her theme has always been bunnies.

There's a lot of drama on the relationships board today.  More than normal.

Twice!  I did it in a college class and then again during our marriage counseling.

I have but it's been a while.  If I saw all the options I could probably remember what I was but I'm totally drawing a blank except I know I'm an introvert... that's all I can remember right now.

  • Munkii - Can I ask a dumb question??  What are grits??  I was born and raised in New England, and I have never seen them around here before.  Is it like oatmeal?
  • Grits are ground up hominy, and you can get them yellow or white.  However, I've only had white.  I fell in love with them on a trip to TX when I was 10, and other than in chain restaurants (like Bob Evans or WaffleHouse), I never see them on the menu up here which means I have to make my own :(

Aren't grits a Southern thing?  DH and I love them too but you rarely see them on menus in CA.

That's my understanding.  DH is from GA and loves them, but I'd never heard of them before visiting his family.

Awesome southern thing....  You should try cheese grits, YUMMO...

  • Definitely a southern thing.  If you ever try them...do not do instant grits.  They are awful.  Get the ones you have to cook.  My best friend says grits are a reason to eat a LOT of fattening things.  She uses heavy cream, cheddar cheese, bacon and butter.  Wink
My baby girl is a married woman...and now my baby girl HAS a baby girl. Time unfolds in such an amazing way. I've been blessed!
  • I prefer mine one of two ways: 1) with butter and loads of maple syrup (the real maple syrup, not faux), or 2) with butter and soft goat cheese (like chevre).  And, like Muffin's Mom says: Don't use instant!!!
