I'm alllliiiiiive!!!!
OMG, I just went a whole week, count it, 7 whole days without internet and I survived. I seriously almost died though. We moved from Calgary to Edmonton last Wednesday and it took an entire week to get connected. My life felt incomplete with out checking out what you gals were up to, reading all my favorite blogs, checking out my social networks, finding new recipes, surfing non important things.... oh and online shopping! I actually went to a mall.....
I just wanted to know what we did with our lives before the internet?
Any thoughts??????

I seriously don't remember what life was like without the internet. I'm certainly glad I have it for work purposes!
I'm always plugged in (via blackberry) and sometimes that is a little annoying. I was just talking with my mom about how she gets so nervous if my sis (in college) doesn't immediately text her back. I went off to college w/ an "emergency only" cell phone and if my mom wanted to reach me she had to call the sorority's main house line and leave a message that was put on a slip of paper and placed in my mailbox. Sometimes she wouldn't hear from me for days....
Seriously! If I even forget my phone at home for the day, I'm LOST and feel off all day! It's so sad.

Ooh, I hope the move went smoothly! So many people I know have been making the move from Calgary to Edmonton. Why did you guys switch?
Ah, that happens to me every time I'm up at the cottage. We have blackberries, but they barely work up there because of the reception. For a while I feel so lost, but then I really love it. I take it you didn't get to that stage!

lol..... I think if I was at the cottage I would be ok. Its like being on vacation, I dont mind going without internet then. Trying to get my life organized here without it was challenging.
We moved to Edmonton for my DH's job. I am still not sure about it but it's not so bad so far. I just wish I knew more people here. The only people I know are Pat's brother and sister in law. We did get a bigger, nicer house for less money so that's a plus! I think it will take some time getting used to......
