Ughhh, SO hot!!!

It's so hot here today :(  It's in the 90s, and humid, blech.

I heard on the news that in NYC, on the subway platforms, the temps are 114 degrees!!!  They showed the streets of NYC, and no one was walking.

What's the weather like where you are?

Re: Ughhh, SO hot!!!

  • It finally hit the 80s here!!!  I'm so excited...for the first time all year, it finally feels like summer.

Definitely no weather-related complaints from me this week!  Big Smile

  • About 97. NYC is hot they say and I can't imagine. I think I am going to live with carrie for the summer

  • It's almost 7pm and it's 79 degrees! it's coudy and has been raining most of the day. I don't think it's gotten out of the 80 in days, which normally would be wonderful, but this time of the year it can only mean that it's been raining off and on everyday for a week! We are drowning it seems!
  • We had around 100 with awful humidity.  Heat advisory warning until 11 tonight :-  I'm so glad DH charged my AC in the car.  DH has been working outside and is fried (and has poison ivy on his feet and has to wear shoes and socks for work) poor guy.

  • Tiff you can also send some rain our way...we haven't had rain in over a month everything is dead and so depressing.  Our rolling hills are normally green and beautiful this time of year :(

  • It was 100 here today, and at 9:30pm our digital thermometer says it is 86 still outside. YUCK!

Oh and my car said 109 when I left work at 5pm!

  • Most of June had highs in the mid to upper 90s, which is more like late July weather.  Last week was only in the low 80s, so I spent a lot of time outside.  But, the temps and humidity went back up over the weekend.  The high today was 93, and it was super humid b/c of spot storms.  This weekend it's supposed to be in the upper 80s with no rain, but we have to spend all of Saturday inside at childbirth class.

  • We're in the high 90s, low 100s here, but luckily we don't have the humidity. If we did I don't know how I'd cope because I hate the heat!!!
  • it was 98 yesterday. the humidity in the south is horrible the heat index might be 105-107 and the air is so thick.

  • When I got up at 5:30 this morning, it was 79 degrees. GROSS! It's supposed to reach 100 today. This is exactly why I never complain about it being cold, and why I love winter! And gosh, we need some rain! We haven't had any steady rain in probably 3 weeks. The few spots in my backyard that don't have any grass are so dry and the ground has started cracking. And my plants are not happy. :-(
