Hey ladies! I know I only occasionally posted on this board at TK, but I'm excited to make the move to TN with ya'll.
Got married on Sunday, June 27th, and it went just about perfectly. Weather was beautiful, everything went according to schedule, and we even came in slightly under-budget! Honeymooned at the Aura Resort in Cozumel, Mexico, and it was awesome.
The biggest drama occurred a couple of weeks before the wedding, when I had to give up on my original wedding dress because a seamstress butchered the top of the dress to the point that it was asymmetrical and visually off-putting.
In a sad and strange turn of events, my grandmother died two weeks before the ceremony. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend the funeral because it was out of town, but my mother called while she was there to tell me that her cousin's daughter (who got married 2-3 years ago) had a Reem Arca wedding dress in my size and would be happy to let me borrow it. I said "yes please," and it worked out perfectly.
Re: The pictures to prove it.

Thanks guys!
We were able to honor my grandmother in a couple of small ways at the wedding: a brief moment of silence during the ceremony, displaying the corsage ordered for her with a note, and including a special mention in the program. All things considered, I think it helped console my mother and her family. The only way I can describe it is "bittersweet."
