Is there a Jimmy Johns up there?

Is it good? I guess they are building one down here. I don't really think we need another sandwich place but maybe since they deliver they will do ok. Findlay is not a huge town and we already have 6 subways and a blimpies... We did have a Quiznos and they went out of business recently. I was not thrilled with that, they were my favorite.

Re: Is there a Jimmy Johns up there?

  • There are a couple Jimmy Johns in Toledo, I've only been there a few times, but it was good. Lots of guys I know like the place. Never used the delivery though. Supposedly it's freaky fast.

  • Wow, that is a lot of sandwich shops!   JJ is pretty good.  I personally prefer Subway and Quiznos, but JJ's bread is quite tasty, and the delivery really is a nice feature. :)

  • There's a few around (coming to mind are one downtown, one by FP, one in Sylvania and one by UTMC).  They're good.  Not outstanding...but good.  I much prefer these kind of sandwich shops as opposed to the greasiness of McD's, BK, etc.

  • I've been there once...I had a bread-less sandwich, kinda think of it as a salad wrap and it was sooo yummy! Hmm, maybe I know what I want for lunch now.

That is an insane amount of sandwich shops. I heard once that there are more Subways in the world than McD's.

  • I love jimmy johns, we used to eat there a lot when we lived in BG
  • The one guy I work with seems to think that since they deliver that we are going to eat there all the time, but there is a local deli that delivers too and they have amazing food and don't charge extra to deliver and we still have only gotten food from there 2-3 times in the 2 years we have been open. There is a Subway in our store so if I want a sandwich I just walk down there.. and they know me and start my sub before I even get to the counter to order. I ate at the Jimmy Johns in BG one time and was not impressed but that was at least 6 or 7 years  ago.

I love it!  We get it all the time.

And they are freaky fast - we get it at work sometimes and they're here within like 10 minutes.

  • We used to get it at work when I was at TMA. It was nice to get something other than pizza and chinese delivered. I think it's much better than Subway, personally, but I don't go out of my way to eat there. Ryan absolutely love's JJ's.
