Thank goodness it's Thursday. It's a short week for me since we had Monday off and I'm really glad about that. What am I most thankful for today: finally having all of my laundry done. Tonight when I get home from work all I'll have to do is finish hanging up my work clothes and I'll be able to relax this weekend. Oh, I'm also thankful for my new shirt. Normal work wardrobe during the summer is t-shirt and jeans/cropped pants. Today I decided to dress things up a bit and wear a new shirt.
That's it for me. I'm thankful for clean laundry and a new shirt. What are you thankful for?
Re: Thankful Thursday
Today I'm particularly thankful to have an air conditioning unit in my office. It's been much too hot this week!
I'm also thankful that tomorrow is Friday and that it looks like it'll be a good Friday--the boss might be taking a vacation day and I'm taking Mom out to see My Fair Lady for her birthday.

Oooooo... My Fair Lady!!! I haven't seen that in forever. I'll have to gear up my Netflix queue.
Maybe I'm being a little optimistic, but I'm really thankful I stumbled across the Genotype Diet. I've only been on it for four days, and it's too soon to see if I'm losing weight... but I will say that I already feel more energized, and my brain fog seems to be disappating a little bit. I can't wait to see what happens two weeks from now!
I'm also thankful for my Husband, who has just been a real sweetie this week.
I'm thankful that I have a job and that even though it's changing, it's pushing me to get out of my comfort zone and start working toward doing things I love to do.
I'm also thankful that I have such an affirming and supportive DH and friendship circle. I couldn't push through changes without them (I have anxiety regarding change).
MY BLOG!
I'm thankful that it is almost Friday which means that the wedding I'm going to is almost here and over with. I really do love weddings but this one is going to be a tad awkward. It is for a neighborhood family friend and I really don't care much for family friend's mom. She's a total gossip and there will be quite a few of her equally gossipy friends there too. DH and I already have a sign for "get me the heck out of here!" if we get cornered by someone who wants to stick their noses in where it doesn't belong. She also totally stiffed a different family friend out of some significant money in a business situation and that doesn't sit well with me either. Unfortunately, it is the type of situation where if we didn't go to the wedding, tongues would be wagging and I don't care to deal with that either.
I have been extremely thankful for my wonderful husband, friends, and family recently. I know it's kind of generic, but I truly don't know what I would do without them. I am also thankful that I have such wonderful IL's. So much that I was able to spend most of last weekend with them and have a fabulous time.
I am also thankful that today is my Friday, which means I'll have the day to myself tomorrow to clean the house. I guess that's a strange thing to be thankful for, but it means DH and I won't have to worry about it this weekend, and we can just enjoy our time together.
