not to get all in your TTC business, but I know you are, I just didn't know if you knew about this product.  My friend was having Trouble TTC and swears by it.  Just thought I'd pass it along, thought it was kinda interesting.

Re: *sara*

  • Oh yeah, I've heard of these. Unfortunately, getting pregnant doesn't seem to be the problem, it's keeping it that's the problem. Uggg, I hate even saying/typing that. We've been ttc for just over a year and been pg three times, two super early m/c and then the most recent one that lasted nearly three months.
  • Oh Sara, I am so sorry.  I knew you had a m/c or two, but that is just heartbreaking.  I suppose the bright side is you can at least get pregnant, but my heart just goes out to you and I'll pray for a sticky baby for you!  Are the doctors giving you any reasoning to it all?  ((hugs))

  • Thanks:)

Last spring when we first started we already knew that my ovulation was sporadic at best because I had super irregular periods. I'd go 28 days and then 60. So we started ttc without any treatments, go pg almost right away and lost it almost as soon as I found out. Then again, same thing in last August. A ton of blood work later and they diagnosed me hetero MTHFR, which is a clotting problem and it causes spontaneous early m/c. Started taking a baby aspirin daily for that. Then diagnosed hyper-insulin, which causes erratic ovulation/periods. So went on metformin for that in September, boom pg again in November, lost it in early February. My former Dr. wanted to start clomid after that m/c to give my eggs a boost. I decided to switch to a new Dr. for a second opinion, I just wasn't ready for clomid yet (plus I had other issues with that office). Just saw Dr. Puckett in June. She thinks after the m/c I've had a progesterone deficiency based on the spotting I was having, that has stopped with my last cycle, so she thinks things have evened out and we just needed to give the metformin some time to really work well, getting pg so quickly after starting it wasn't necessarily a good thing. She said continue trying with the metformin for 6 months and we will re-evaluate in January. So here we are.
