realtor recs, please!
I'm looking for a realtor who is knowledgeable about the downtown and immediate surrounding areas. The two that I know personally are east side and northern Cinti people, and I think we would be better off having a buyer's realtor who knows more about that area. (the east side realtor we know will be listing our house)
We're still in very early stages here, and just need to talk to someone about what we're looking for so that we can decide if we want to move forward or not.

My friend used this guy a few years ago (she bought, then sold, in the old Citirama neighborhood in the west end on Mound Street).
He knows his stuff about downtown, but I didn't use him personally so I can't vouch for him 100%. But he'd be worth a call, I'm sure. Good luck!

I recommend Kent Hardman. We didn't use him for our home, since we bought in Madeira, but he is very knowledgeable about downtown and has several listings in that area. He does a lot of showings downtown too. He's with Coldwell Banker. Hope he can help you get started!

The Schoeny's are excellent, they made our buying experience smooth and very quick
Pam Thomas with Link Realty. She's really good in those areas and even lives downtown.
Are you looking for a place near downtown? If so, what are you looking for? We are close to putting our home up for sale and live near downtown... we are a hop, step, jump away from Mirror Lake.

jiml, we're looking for something with 3BR because we haven't decided if we're going to have a second kid or not. We also want something with little to no lawn. We're just not cut out for that kind of suburban living. Ideally I'd like to be within walking distance to activities/grocery/farmer's market/etc.
ETA: we're looking at both houses and condos

Do not feel obligated at all... by any means, but if you are interested in our unit I can send you a PM if you'd like? Quick Info: 3 bedroom condo in walking distance to mirror lake, eden park, Kroh conservatory and up to Mt. Adams. No yard, but a little area in the front with trees/bushes that is taken care of by the HOA which is $80 a month and also includes snow removal. Deck off of living room, 3 full baths and one half. 9 ft ceilings. Laundry on 3rd floor near master. It's a row home... some people like them and some don't. Again... good luck!!!
