I believe the ensuing conversation would begin something like "WTF are you doing you perverted b!tch? Keep your mouth away from my son's pen!s." May be a little of my own MIL angst coming through but that is completely unacceptable.

I'm pretty sure a fight would've ensued right there. Probably not physical (I don't see how that would do any good, especially with an infant in the mix), but verbal for sure.

The only benefit to this story is that (1) the child is probably too young to EVER remember or know something weird happened, and (2) OP was able to witness it and can take all the necessary steps she need to in order to protect her child in the future.

The kid won't remember THIS incident, but I'd be inclined to believe there would be future if this couple has any more dealings with her. Especially after learning about the H's probably molestation.

I totally agree. That poor woman. I don't think I would have kept my cool like she did. I just sat here and read that whole post and it gives me the creeps.

OMG - I'm horrified by this. That's is so wrong on so many levels. I have to say that would probably be the end of any relationship I would have with the woman and no way in hell would I ever leave my child alone with her even if I was in the other room.

I didn't read all the way down, so maybe more details are added, but in the initial premise I can totally understand just being so shocked that I couldn't say anything. I might yelp and grab my baby away, but I don't think I would have realized the full truth of what just happened. And I would never let her touch my baby again. And I would get DH into therapy.
