Our 2 year anniversary was on Monday, and well, it wasn't quite the day I had been hoping for. We both worked, had dinner at TGIFridays, and exchanged cards. He ALWAYS gets me flowers for bdays and anniversaries, and this time he didn't. I mentioned that, and then he went out at got some lame, half-dead roses. I didn't complain, but I was a bit disappointed.
Fast forward to tonight...I get home from work to find that my flowers are in the trash. Now I am getting miffed. SO I ask him WTF, and he said, "well the flowers WERE pretty lame, so I got rid of them." I just shrugged it off, and then he pulls out a small box. He decided to surprise me with earrings! They are so pretty, and it was a total surprise!
