I just signed up for it... what's on your queue?? Recommend a movie that I need to see!
Re: Netflix?
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
If you were in my shoes, you'd fall the first step."
I'm dying!! I think I'm going to have to start calling it a kweeee too!!!
HAHA -- That's what we figured. I'll have to inform DH of the correct pronunciation, although we'll still call it our kwee.
And PS - Netflix is a movie rental company where you pay a certain amount each month and you can get movies, tv shows, etc mailed straight to your house. We have the plan where we can "rent" an unlimited # of movies per month, but we can only have one movie at a time. So....we can watch one, mail it back, and then we'll receive the next one on our "kwee" in a few days. It saves SOO much money, especially for people who like to watch a lot of movies. We literally don't go to the movie theater anymore because it's gotten so expensive and new movies are available on Netflix really soon after they're in theaters. I think our plan is like $8 or $9/month.
Yep, that's the plan I just signed up for. You can also watch movies instantly directly from your computer or PS3.
You have to have your blu-ray hooked up to the cable or something, right? I'm new to all this.
The Fall... looove this movie!
I've been watching Breaking Bad (working on season 2). Party Down is another series we've been watching.
We have a HUGE list... here's a few.
Whip It
Invictus
Lovely Bones
The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo
I love you Man and Forgetting Sarah Marshall are a couple of my favorites!
Party down got cancelled
I heard they pulled it from the instant play, it was a great show! Ooh Arrested Development and Bones are both on Instant watch, we've been watching those lately.
I was not impressed with I love you man.... we tried to watch it like 3 times and couldn't ever get through the whole movie. Forgetting Sarah Marshall was AWE-SOME!!
Ok, so I now have 37 movies in kweee.... ranging from new releases, chick flicks, awesome 80's movies, documentaries, plus, we're going to do the instant-watch thing for the Spartacus series which I'm super-excited to watch!!
Really!?! I loved I love you man.
More Movies: Book of Eli, Law Abiding Citizen, The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3. Batman Begins, the Dark Knight...
Have you seen Generation Kill? It's an HBO mini series based on true events. A reporter for rolling stone follows a troop of Marines around in Iraq, they were one of the first troops sent over at the very beginning of the war. I LOVED that series. And Alexander Skarsgard (eric in True Blood) helllooo sexypants!!
Some good documentaries are the Business of Being Born, Super High Me, Food Inc, Dear Zachary (really good, but very sad ending), Supersize me is good if you haven't seen that, and the guy who made that also did a TV show called 30 days which was really good.
my favorite part about netflix is that you can rate movies/tv shows/etc online. then it will suggest things based on what you rate. so i will go rate all these terrible chick flicks and crappy shows as 5 stars so that when DH signs on, it suggests awkward things like "28 dresses" and all his friends are like WTF!? hahaha
my real favorite thing about netflix is the instant watch on wii/xbox. sooo awesome.

We LOVE Netflix. I agree with the other posts, having it stream live on our blu ray is amazing. We just watched High Crimes with Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman, great movie, and She's Out of My Leauge, also good. Next up we have Valentine's Day and Whip It.
Blockbuster offers a similar service. Do you have that in Canada?
