Girl's night tonight (if the rain stops)!! We're seeing our favorite 80s cover band at an outdoor martini bar.

Tomorrow, I have the day mostly to myself. Hopefully it will dry up a bit so the pup can actually spend time outside. He's been looking so sad staring at the back door.

Sunday night, we have a friend's surprise birthday party and we're all wearing super hero t-shirts. And yes, I already owned one! Wonder Woman = awesomeness!!

Nothing on the agenda and loving it! DH has to work so I will be home with Amelia and we will probably just hang out and clean. I have a ton of that to do.

I think we're bed shopping this weekend. Also, I took today off, so I think I'm going to head to the mall with my yellow throw pillow in a bag to try to match it some curtains.

I did have yesterday off, so my mom, sister and I took off to the mall. I ended up with some new brown flip flops. DH wasn't very happy (he says I don't need anymore flops), but I love them. And I got my sister a gift. I got her a Vera Bradley Lanyard and ID key chain since she doesn't carry a purse much. It isn't old grandma looking either.

And these are the shoes I bought.

My grandparents are in town for my cousin's softball tournament so I'm spending the day with them again today before going to see the games this evening.

Tomorrow we're off to South Carolina w/ MIL for a reunion of sorts in her home town.

Me too. But, she picked that pattern out. I figured in such a small dose it was probably okay. Plus, I never realized how hard it was to find lanyards until I was actually looking for one.

This makes me laugh. Last summer we went home to visit and my aunt told us how her 18yo granddaughter just came to visit from VA and that she kept going on and on about these Vera Bradley bags. My aunt is an excellent seamstress and so when my cousin showed her one online, she laughed and said she could make one for a couple of dollars. By the end of the weekend she made a bunch of patchwork bags and said they were I_ Z_ originals. I had never heard of them until this story and I still really haven't seen them around since but my aunt did give me one of her bags.

hah, I usually feel this way too. My sister is a total label whore and is all into Vera Bradley. It's just NMS, I tend to think a lot of the stuff is borderline tacky, but I don't mind it in smaller doses ? that wallet is actually really cute!

This weekend I am going shade shopping for our bedroom (May have a D&R post later for advice on those). Our lamps are arriving (finally!), so we will be finished with the room aside from 2 pieces of art we ordered that haven't arrived yet.

Besides that, possibly starting painting in the dining room, playing with the pooch and maybe a date night with K.

Not doing anything tonight...then waking up early tomorrow for our big Canoe/Camping Trip with a few of our friends (though we're camping in an RV because camping in 99 degree weather =/= fun!) Should be a blast!

Sunday when we get back (and if we're feeling up to it) we're going to look at houses in my parents' neighborhood, because Ry just saw a bunch of houses for sale when he was over there and it's basically our ideal/dream neighborhood!

I'm on my way out the door to do a six mile training walk (I can't believe the Susan G. Komen 3-Day is in 19 weeks! Eeeks, that's not a lot of time to get my butt in shape...). Later tonight I'm going to dinner and to see Eclipse (yes, for the third time) with a friend from graduate school.

Tomorrow morning I've got another 5.5 mile training walk + an information session about Nutrition and Injury Prevention for the 3-Day. Then I'll be making wedding programs for my friend who is getting married next Friday!!! Oh my goodness, I can't believe her wedding is a week from today (this is 6.5 years coming...).

Sunday I will probably be cleaning the apartment and getting everything together to head to NorCal for the wedding on Thursday. I'm sure M/T/W are going to fllllly by.

Our weekend should be pretty low key - relaxing tonight and maybe a movie date with DH. Tomorrow we have a couple's shower for some friends - the theme is The Hangover because they are getting married in Vegas and I'm making cupcakes and not completely sure what I'm going to do yet so that's on the agenda for tomorrow. Sunday, I'm hoping the sun is shining and we can go boating during the day.

I should be done with work around 3pm today. Going home to watch some DVR, do some homework. Maybe even a nap? DH is working late but hopefully we'll grab some dinner together.

Tomorrow I have class in the morning, then more time at home while DH works. More homework, cleaning, maybe grocery shopping? Tomorrow night we have no plans.

Sunday we'll go to church then to a friend's for a BBQ and to watch the World Cup finals.
