What are the random or bizarre things that you make your HH (or anyone else) do for you? I was thinking about this last night as HH closed our closet doors - I refuse to sleep with open closet doors, no matter where I am. Our house, my mom's house, a hotel...I just can't do it. So he makes sure every night before he goes to bed that the closet doors are closed. I have made such a big deal about this for so long that now he does it as part of his nighttime routine without even thinking about it. Good boy he is!
Two of my best friends lived together as roommates for years. My one best friend is totally crazy (in a good, hilarious way) and every.single.night. she would get into bed, then make our other friend come and throw her comforter over her and turn out her bedroom light. I have no idea how it got started, but it was a big joke at first and then it just became part of their routine at night. So ridiculous.
So, what are yours? Or are my friends and I just completely wacked?
Re: Question of the Day
Every Night He brings me a chocolate to bed because I am always in bed first because he checks all the doors. On the weeks ends he brings me coffee in bed just the way I like it and if he doesn't I pout!!!
Also since he and I have been together I don't open a door for myself. Its funny I am so used to it that when I go somewhere with others I sometimes forget that not everyone opens the door and closes it for me.
HH opens the car door for me to get in ALL THE TIME. One that is more unusual would be that he lays in bed on my side while I wash my face so that the bed isn't cold for when I get in! It's so darn sweet, especially in the winter!!
I have to be in bed under the covers before he can turn the light off and if I come in when he is already in bed than he turns the light on until I can get in bed and under the covers before he will turn it back off. He also has to sleep on the side of the bed closest to the door.
Adam does that for me too sometimes!!
And at restaurants where you get bread and cold pats of butter (the are wrapped) he takes them and warms them in his hands so they spread easily on my bread.
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
