The older I get, the more annoying I find the general public. For example, I was in line at Kohl's yesterday, and the lady in front of me was trying to pay her bill, using a check, etc. and it took FOREVER! I was super-annoyed that they didn't open another lane until 10 mins. later, when there were 6 ppl in line! Part of me felt like she should have said, "Nevermind, I'll just mail my payment in" like everyone else does! To top it off, her bill was $8!

My Dh hasnt received his unemployment in a month b/c of Congress/Senate taking their sweet time to pass the extension bill. I understand things take time but they are holding everyone's money until its passed and that puts people in bad situations. We are missing out on alot of money which we need for bills. I dont understand how the government expects people to pay their bills when they won't give them help. It makes me so angry!

If I could throat punch every tourist here, I would. They're inconsiderate of those of us who are actually trying to get to work. I think they shouldn't be allowed on the train during rush hour bc day after day they create issues that leads to broken train doors, delays, etc. It's so frustrating! and in DC, we walk on the left, ride on the right of the escalators so MOVE OVER. I can only say it politely so many times when I'm running to catch a train so I'm not late for work!!!

I really need to hire a handyman. Thing is, I really haven't found anyone I trust. I'm tired of relying on other people to get things done. I need to have my gutters cleaned, front porch powerwashed and repainted, hedges trimmed, pool vacuum fixed, 2 broken gates/dorrs fixed etc. and I don't know how to do it or who to call.

Amen to this... there is nothing I hate more than when I am trying to run on the Parkway or in the trails, and two old biddys having their daily chat are spread across the whole sidewalk/trail. Stay. to. the. right!

I adore being married to my DH but there are times when I wish I could just come home, have the house to myself and eat junkfood and watch Lifetime TV in my pajamas.

1) I want to refinance my house but I will need to get it appraised which is a bit expensive and I don't want to pay him/her because if my house isn't worth what I need it to be worth then I most likely can't go forward, I don't have cash for closing costs so I need it to be worth X amount in order to get it all rolled in together.

2) DH took our "vacation" money that is in the jar and cashed it in (behind my back) cause he was short in the mortgage this month (he pays mortgage) and now we no longer have our darien lake money and hence, I am with PP where sometimes I jsut want to come home and be with my pooch and do whatever I want and not have to work a 2nd job!

Guess I got a lot on my mind today..

Trust me - I feel your pain. I've been 12 weeks without unemployment. I'm not quite sure how we haven't lost our house yet. I think I have cried to everyone at unemployment. Now I have to find a lawyer (hopefully a pro bono one since we can't afford one) so that I can be represented when I finally get a hearing. I'm afraid I'm going to develop an ulcer because the whole thing makes me so scared and sick.

I have to change what I wrote because with my luck someone would know who I wrote about. I'll just leave it that I don't like princesses and I don't like selfish people.

My sister admitted to an affair last week (and says she cares about this other guy and he cares about her) and has also been hiding alcohol when she told us she was going to stop drinking and refuses help. While she is my sister and of course I will let her stay here I really just want to scream at her and ask her what the heck is wrong with her. My BIL is a great guy and my heart is breaking for him, not to mention my poor nephew who will have to go through this. I'm not sure if this was really appropriate for this post but it feels better every time I say that.
