As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Soooo, remember my whiney post about the bride who was never actually proposed to and originally wanted to share all of our decorations?? (OH FUN. I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO HAVE THE EXACT SAME WEDDING AS SOMEONE ELSE.)
WELL, her wedding's tonight. I called yesterday to see if there was anything she needed from me (I'm already bringing my bathroom baskets, that I bought and filled for our wedding, which I'm mostly ok with 'cause I hope this crap gets used up. What am I going to do with it??) and it was all "nooo, no. We're totally set, everything is perfect and done!"
So I pack up my car this morning w/ the baskets, my makeup, my dress & heels, everything I need for tonight. H and I are driving separately so he can go home to let the dogs out and such. (the wedding's about an hour from home, but my work is smack in the middle)
Then I get a call 3 hours ago (of COURSE 3 hours after my lunch). She didn't even think about a card box, and now I have to drive home or make H meet me in the middle with ours. It may not be super duper awesome and well made, but we spent FOREVER trying to figure out what to make that was totally different from what we'd seen. And it doesn't even match the colors of tonight's wedding.
Blah. Annoyed. Super annoyed.

Ditto this. They sell card boxes at the party store(and probably at Target, Walmart, etc) for like $5. If it doesn't match I don't know why she would even want to use it.

I can't say too much, though... I actually used a friend's card box. However, I didn't ask (or think of asking), it was offered- and has been used in other weddings as well. I also picked it up a week before hand.
I hope her wedding has booze to make up for your trouble.
