Choo and other baby shower planners
I need to come up with a game for this shower I'm hosting in August. I hate games. But our mom-to-be loves all of that corny stuff, LOL.
What games did you do/are you doing at yours?
I am thinking of making my own up...matching crazy celeb baby names to crazy celeb parents who named them...thoughts?
I am NOT under any circumstances doing the candy bar in the diaper, the measure the tummy with TP, and the smell the baby food games

Memory tray game is fun. Put a whole bunch of baby stuff on a tray (shampoo, lotion, diaper, pacis, etc.), walk it around the room and let everyone see it, and then take it out of the room and people have to list as many things as they can remember. I think we have about 21 things on there. Most anyone listed was 16.
We used all stuff off the mom-to-be's registry and gave it all to her.

Really? The ones I've been to always have had at least that many. I know they had like 6 at mine!
I mean, it's a 3-4 hour party so I don't think one an hour is excessive. I am hoping they make the time pass more than anything!

I LOVE this game. We've played it at two showers I've been to. What's even more fun is to make like a "word bank" of baby names and have more baby names than parents -- then you can put random words in there along with names like Apple (Gwenyth Paltrow and Chris Martin) or Denim (Toni Braxton's kid).
I like that one Leigha... and we did a celeb matching game at my bridal shower that was similar that worked well for my friends but no so well with older family members (there were a lot of them in attendance too) so I think it depends on the crowd a little bit.
I'm so glad you aren't doing the candy bar - diaper game... I think that might be the most disgusting game ever. And the TP game is just embarrassing for the mama to be.

SBS, awesome idea!! How hilarious would this be? How did you format this with the word bank? Maybe I will do this one as well in case we need some extra stimulation. I can't imagine making conversation with 20 {much older} women I've never met before for 4 hours
Leigha-I was so gamed out. They know I hate that sh!t anyways, LOL! Good thing they had lots of bellinis for my guests

I survived the RoLex wedding and all I got was this lousy husband.
