Question about thank yous
I am just starting my thank yous ( I have a few done). What do you do if one person came to the wedding but the other didnt and they are married. How would you write the thank you not other than to say thanks for the gift?
Re: Question about thank yous
This is what I would write...
Dear Bob,
Although we missed seeing Sandy on the 19th, we are both so happy we got to spend time with you that day and have you witness this special time in our lives. DH and I want to thank you so much for the salad spinner! Now that we can have really dry lettuce, DH doesn't complain about soggy iceberg anymore and we're both eating much healthier.
Lots of love,
Hwrd and DH

Thanks JB- That is perfect.
Thanks girls. I have been procrastinating so bad on my thank yous.
I've actually been contemplating that... The Globe already has an Etiquette columnist, but it would be fun to be a wedding columnist.

I think we could work something out. lol Srsly, I'd help you for free, my lovely. Do you have a particular one that's being difficult?

this cracked me up because there's a chick on my local who posted that she wanted to start a business writing thank you notes for busy brides who didn't have time to thank people for their gifts. she got quite a tongue-lashing!
