What other boards do you post on?
I'm just curious, because this is really the only board that I post on. I want to post on others, but I haven't really yet (except for the odd post here and there), because the boards that I am interested in all have their "regulars" and I feel like the dorky kid in junior high standing on the edge of the group with nothing cool to say. Haha I need to get over myself!
These are the boards that I actively lurk on and want to start posting on eventually:
- cleaning and organizing (I'm an admitted clean freak, I keep old toothbrushes in at least three rooms in my house so I can spot clean tiny crevices if need be - I have posted here a few times)
- crafts (I love scrapbooking and any other paper crafts)
- decorating and renovating (we just bought our house a year ago in June - as I haven't actually LIVED in it for most of that time, there is a lot of decorating that needs to happen...not so much with the renovating, thank God)
- family matters (I mostly just lurk here because it makes me feel better about my own IL's)
- fashion and beauty (this is the board I am most obsessed with lurking on, although I am SO not stylish enough to post anything on there...not to mention that any of the stores people refer to there are no where near me here in BFN Canada)
- gadgets and techonology (never had much interest in this one until I got my new phone, now I may need to check it out every once in a while)
- married life (because, well...hello? I'm married now!)
- money matters (living life on our budget, haha)
- nest book club (haven't posted here but since I'm a teacher and loooove reading...I would love to join a real life book club too...guess I need to meet some people here first)
- travel (we LOVE to travel. HH and I have been to 14 countries so far...and will add another 5 or 6 to that list this summer)
- what's cooking (will probably not be posting here, but will definitely be lurking for some good recipes!)
When I first joined I read a bit of Trouble in Paradise - just out of morbid curiousity. I quickly learned to avoid that one because (a) there is no trouble in MY paradise, and (b) the people on that board are all kind of mean and (c) reading about other people's problems/divorce issues is really kind of depressing, especially for a newlywed!
Can you all tell I'm really bored already?? Haha HH has only been gone for 4 hours and this is what I'm doing with my time, lol

I feel the same way! I'd like to jump in to the Pets board, and the D&R board... but I know they don't exactly do intros, and I don't know whether to just jump in or what.
For the love of GOD, it's the INTERNET.. what's wrong with us? lol
That's what I was thinking of doing.. put the focus on Luca rather than myself. I feel weird just randomly posting, too.
I've posted on the pets board, but only when I have a specific question (like when Brody threw up on the carpet and I couldn't get it cleaned, I asked their advice on what I could use to help clean it.)
I've posted on my local before, but it's usually completely dead... as in like 1 post every couple of weeks (if that).
I've posted on the travel board before, but mostly just lurk on it.
I occasionally lurk on the Carribbean board, just because sometimes they bring up interesting topics and links to fun stuff.
I pretty much just stick to this board though.
I'm on the book club board! So far haven't been flamed, which I'll count as success
I'm trying to get more involved with the Book Club board because I'm a librarian and will be consumed by professional guilt if I don't. Also, they are mostly very nice, and I'm getting good book recommendations (I don't do much readers' advisory or stay up on the trendy bestsellers in my research-oriented academic library).
I posted a question on my local board once, and I used to lurk there a bit, but I don't have preschool or elementary-aged children, so I really have nothing in common with them. I get that the Nest has been around for a while, but I sort of wish they'd create The Playground Bench or something for those who have been married for years and years.
I've glanced at a few of the others, but so far I just post here and Book Club.

I only post here. I have a previous board that I belong to, not TK/TN/TB related, from when I was pg with my son, and we've had several meetups (2007 was in Charleston, SC and it was a BLAST! 10 of us from all over the country met up there & spent 4 days together, sans kids/husbands/etc...sooo much fun. 6 girls from that board came to my wedding! AWWW!) We've gotten to be super close over the past 5 years.
I've lurked here & there on other TK/TN boards, but I doubt I'll post anywhere else but here. Maybe on the book club board. We'll see. I have a hard time keeping up everywhere I'm at already, and I really do not enjoy the thought of being personally attacked for my opinion on other boards I've visited here! There's an amazing amount of "snark" on TK/TN boards!!!
