Am I the only one with no real interest in the world cup?
DH has been glued to the TV for the past few weeks. We're at his parent's house watching the final now. Clearly, I'm sitting here on the computer. They're hispanic so they love soccer. Me? Not so much. I'll be glad when it's over.
I'm ready for football to start again.
Re: Am I the only one with no real interest in the world cup?
Same. I'm sure if DH watched it that I could get into it, but I'm actually the sports fan out of the two of us.
Because of me DH now knows what a blitz is, and a first and ten. I kid you not. haha
nope. I don't care about it at all.
I LOVE football. American football haha
I don't have any particular interest in it, but I do find the games mildly entertaining when they're on in the background. HH was a soccer player for most of his life, he played varsity in university, and he really enjoys it, but he really has to pick his battles when it comes to watching sports on tv. Because his job is sports, we tend to live and breathe SportsCenter, and with only one television he knows it just isn't going to fly to be watching it at all times.
However, this is coming from the girl who travelled to Germany with her BF of only 8 days (yes, this was the beginning of my relationship with HH) during the last World Cup. Trust me, games are SO much more fun when you're surrounded by thousands of people who are soooo into it.
SO true! I hate watching sports on tv, it's so boring! But I'll go to a football game, it's fun when you have the atmosphere
(and my parents have amazing season tickets in the like fifth row
Me to!! HH and I don't watch soccer, but we LOVE college football. Go Mountaineers!!!
See, I LOVE soccer, but I haven't watched any of the world cup. I played soccer for about 5 years during the spring and fall (and even played indoor soccer during the winter).
But yeah, I can't wait for some college football to start!!!
GO JACKETS!!!!
