Alright ladies-- weekly goals time! Lets hear em!
I would like to hit the gym 4 times this week- either running or spinning!
I would also like to NOT polish off the box of chocolate cupcakes sitting in my kitchen : )
Re: Weekly Goals!!
Gym 2-3 times by end of this week.
Find 2 lamps for end tables in our livingroom.
Weed front garden area.
Research hotel for Newport later this month.
And that's it.
Go for a run 3x this week.
Find a dog sitter for when we're on our HM.
Paint the pantry door, and the basement door (we got new ones, right now they're still plain and covered in plastic)
Run 3x
Do Pilates once (one of my more challenging DVDs)
Ah dang... I forgot that we're house/dog sitting for one of HH's coworkers. Well, those are still my goals, whether or not I'm able to meet them!
I don't have any weekly goals... I need to think on a much smaller scale... Here's my MONDAY goal:
Just let me get through the freakin day without stapling any documents to anyone's forehead... pretty please?? Today is definitely a Monday, and it feels like one of those days where I'm going to snap on someone. Look, if you can't walk down and get your own damn printer paper when you can see that my desk is completely covered in things to do, then get the hell out of my office.
LOL!! "Engineering social" sounds like an oxymoron. My mom was a mechanical engineer, so I've met my share. One of my good friends is an engineer, and she tells some stories about some of her coworkers...
haha... it's true!! I work in the Engineering Directorate of my organization, and I just can't imagine these people in social situations at all. They'll come in and tell jokes or something and they are cracking up because they think it's so hilarious... I start laughing just because it's so NOT hilarious, but they think it is.
When my crazy ex-bf was taking engineering in university (different guy than my high school engineering bf) we used to talk about the "engineering-hot" girls in his classes.
Basically, there were like 3 girls in his classes, and 50 guys. All the guys would go completely nuts over these girls, and the girls would walk around thinking they were super awesome, because they were getting all this attention. My ex-bf and I dubbed them as "engineering-hot"...they were the hot girls because they were the ONLY girls.
We compared this to the "psych hot" and "Bio hot" girls. (I took Psych, as did hundreds of other girls...so if you were hot in Psych class, you were actually really hot. Same with Bio.) Engineering hot girls wouldn't stand up next to Psych hot girls.
My goals get to the gym 3x this week. Don't know why it is so hard to do since the wedding. Before the wedding that was easy.
2nd ugh to not take a pregnancy test before Saturday. I don't have a clue if I am or not I really have my doubts and I know it is silly there is no point until Saturday because by then I should know without taking one. Sigh...
Not to kill my oldest child or the stupid loser 21 year old that keeps trying to call her. But on the same token to make sure all my kids know I love them every day.
Yeap thats about it!
