G'AH DH stop pouting. I am not being mean.

So we spent a fortune this last week. Almost $1500 in one week on hotels, food and laundry. This doesn't include the cost of an exterminator. So today DH calls me "Hey, I think I am going to be late tonight. I want to get a hair cut." The girl DH goes to costs around $40 plus tip for a mens hair cut. I said he had to wait until pay day. I have to go out and re buy a bunch of groceries that went bad while we were having our house sprayed. He is pouting. He is not talking to me. Why? Because I wouldn't let him get a bluetooth set of head phones for his new iPhone (he has Bluetooth built into his effing car why does he need a head set?) and now I won't let him get a hair cut and how come I won't let him spend any money and I am mean.

In addition to the above mentioned costs I have had to spend money on this week:

New Pacifiers and Sippy Cups for DD because DH said he packed them before we left the cottage but he didn't

Two days worth of clothes for all of us because we had to wash everything we owned.

Sheets for DD's pack n' play for the same reason as clothing purchase.

Toys for DD because all of hers (except for her bedtime lovies thank god) had to be sprayed and there is no way I was going to spend a week with DD not having anything to play with and aside from a toilet a hotel room has nothing for kids to play with.

It's been an expensive week. He can wait four freaking days to get a hair cut. Yeesh I am not being mean I am being practical. Food trumps hair cut. I am sorry.

wow. I totally agree with you!!! if he still complains tell him to hit up first choice hair cutters for the $10 special then. I can't believe he pays $40 for a men's cut!!
