already a very expensive week - yikes!
Last night we booked a labor day trip to CO with the in-laws.
Then today got the diagnosis for my car that we brought in for a weird noise - 2 wheel bearings need replaced - and my civic is only 5 years old and has under 50K miles!! I had always spoken so highly of the reliability of my car...now, not as satisfied! With the diagnosis and the 2 replacements it will be almost $900.
The vacation I am ok with, the car...not how I want to spend our money!!

not covered - I didn't purchase the extended warranty, and if I had it would have expired last month I believe. So I probably would have been kicking myself :-)
At least we've been in savings mode for awhile now, so it's not going to kill us. A year or 2 ago this would have been far worse!!
