For the love of pete, I can not make up my mind on this. For my work event on Saturday we have volunteers helping us out, but not all are our regular volunteers so not everyone has a volunteer polo shirt.
I would like the volunteers to wear the same thing so it is easy to figure out, plus some are them are our college students, so they may not have dressier clothes down here. I wanted to get t-shirt for them but don't have money in our budget. Target does have men's t-shirts on sale for $3.79. I could easily pick up some of them. Now what color should i get? Our decorations are earthy colors, gold and a moss green and lot of little butterfly and bird decorations with deeper colors.
I don't know if this link will take you right to the correct page on the Target ad http://weeklyad.target.com/target/default.aspx?ref=nav%5Fweeklyad&action=entryflash .
I was thinking burgandy and let them wear neutural color pants. Any other suggestions?
Would a plain t-shrit with no logo look silly. They will have a brush silver name tag with my work's logo on it.
Re: Help me make a decision!!!
If it were me, I think I'd skip the t-shirts. I don't think plain t-shirts would look super nice, especially if they're too big or too small which is possible since you'll be fitting lots of different people.
As long as they all have nametags, I think that will be fine. Name tags will indicate that they're volunteers.
If you really want them to look the same, can you ask them to all wear a white shirt and black pants, or a black shirt and khaki pants, or something like that?
I agree with this. Especially the last part. At Target, they ask all of their employees to wear khakis and a red shirt of their choosing. Everyone's wearing a different kind of red shirt, but you always know they work there, especially with the nametag.
If they don't have the right color shirt, than they get a Target t-shirt.
