irritate the crap out of me... I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm as lazy as they come, but if you have to use the FREIGHT elevator to go up ONE freakin floor after you just went and chainsmoked two cigarettes on your smokebreak, there's something wrong with you. I had to wait on the elevator with a hand-truck full of boxes while these people went up on the elevator. I mean, I smoke, but I still wouldn't use the elevator to go up ONE FLOOR!!! Take the freakin stairs. If you're smoking, you probably need the exercise anyway!!
Before anyone jumps on me, yes I know smoking is bad and I'm trying to quit, so please don't hate me. I do NOT smoke at work because I think it's disgusting and doesn't look professional.

Seeing other people's hair in the sink or the gym shower makes me want to vomit. For realsies.

I HATE THAT, too. I'm so glad that my coworker who does this is only working one day a week during the summer. Of course, she'll be in four days a week this academic year, instead of her usual three. We share an open office area and it drives me insane.
I work with a woman who pops here gum VERY loud, it annoys the crap out of everyone.
I am clean to the point of being OCD. I love the feeling of having a clean house, and I am thoroughly disgusted by dirty houses. Now, I know that most people don't clean their homes as thoroughly as I do, and that's totally fine - if your bathroom and kitchen are clean, and your house doesn't stink, I'll generally be ok. However, my oldest sister's house is a STY. She has three kids who she has never taught to pick up after themselves, so they are very very messy, and I have never seen her husband clean a thing. She tries on occasion, but gets overwhelmed easily and gives up. I'm not talking a "hoarders" level of dirty here, but they have a really big house and she just can't keep up with it. She has a cleaning service come in every two weeks, and I can only imagine what the house would be like without it.
Anyway, she came to visit us at our new house for the first time in March, when she and her husband were taking their kids on vacation (road trip, we were along the way). Our house is about 4 hours from theirs, so it was her first time here. The morning that they were heading on their way to their next stop, she made a big deal about how she had to shower and get ready at our house, even though it was going to be at 5am, because she knew she wasn't going to want to shower at her friends house. Apparently her friend "isn't the best housekeeper". All HH and I could think was "oh man, how bad would it have to be for [sister] to be disgusted?"
We were still in bed when they left, and when HH got up to shower, he came back into the bedroom and said "Honey, does your sister have cancer?" I was like "umm, no - that's rude. Why would you say that?" And I follow him into the bathroom...there was SO MUCH HAIR all over the bathroom floor, it looked like we'd carpeted in there. She obviously blowdried and straightened her hair in there, and it was everywhereeee. We were both SO grossed out. I can't imagine leaving someone ELSE's house in a state like that!
