Newbie here- Question re. ideas for nephews visit?
Hi guys
!
I'm new to this board and thought I'd post a question. My 18yr old nephew and his gf are coming into town this weekend and are staying a week. My DH and I have no kids (yet) and are in our mid-30's. Anyone have some good ideas (that are not too costly) for us to do with them? They're pretty easy to please because they like pretty much everything, but we've only been in the city 2 years and haven't been 18 for quite some time LOL. Any ideas you all have would be great!!
Thanks!!

I'm not sure if you need to be 21 or 18 to get in... but the Whole World Improv is awesome! I don't know if you have ever been to an Improv show before, but by it's very nature it is interactive with the audience and absolutely hilarious whether you drink or not....
Also, most weekends if you look at atlantaonthecheap.com there is usually a deal for $10 off the price of a $21 ticket.
Good luck with the visit!
Maybe Dad's Garage Theater, another comedy troupe. Sometimes it's a show and sometimes it's improv.

You could also do an IMAX movie at Fernback or the theaters in Kennesaw or Buford.
The zoo, the aquarium, the World of Coke, a baseball game (sometimes you can get nosebleed tickets that are cheap).

If they have some sort of student ID, they can get super cheap tickets to Braves games!
good call! Even better pricing
Call me Kat =^..^=
Piedmont Park is having 99x unplugged in the park it's a free concert series. It could be fun.
We like going to those, but they're 21 and older
-thanks for the idea!
Check out Flicks on 5th - outdoor concert series near GA Tech. Fantastic Mr. Fox is tonight but I can't remember their other shows.
The King Center is really nice, as is a walk in Oakland Cemetery, Piedmont or Centennial Parks.
