First trip to L&D :(
So I went to the doc because I woke up at 3am with Emmy and nearly passed out. I have been so sick. Worse this time than with Emmy.
The doc sends me to labor and delivery because I am dehydrated. I got two liters of fluid and they gave me zofran (used to prevent nausea and vomiting) and he gave me a prescription for it. Only thing is the prescription is only for 12 pills! That is all the insurance companies will give at a time 
AND - get this. The doc said he wants to do an ultrasound to see if I am carrying TWINS! He says that because I am so sick with this one it makes him wonder if I have more hormones due to twins. I will absolutely die if I have twins - 3 under 14 months?!?
The hospital I delivered at is small. So the nurses were teasing me saying that they didnt expect to see me so soon! Lol

Oh I'm sorry you're so sick!
Hang in there! Even if it is twins...you can do it! Just think about this - my grandma had twins (my mom and aunt) and 15 mo. later to the day, she gave birth to my uncle. Here's the catch - the twins were so premature that they weren't even walking at 15 months! She had 3 under 2, none walking, all in cloth diapers only, and no indoor bathroom. Trust me - you can do it!
Mel - first of all, so sorry to hear you're so sick. I can't imagine feeling that awful with a LO. I really really hope that you start to feel better soon!
And second of all, TWINS, OMG...that would be crazy but amazing = ) Emily is right, you're a wonderful mother...you can do it!
How awful, I'm sorry. I'm glad they gave you zofran - that stuff works wonders. I STILL have to take it. I'm sorry they won't give you more at a time though.
I'm sure you'll be able to handle twins just fine, keep us updated, whatever happens.

That would be AWESOME Heather. We will def need the help if it is twins. I don't really feel like it is but the waiting 3 weeks is going to kill me.

Twins!! Whoah - that would be crazy! You could handle it though - I'm sure it would be an amazing experience!
I'm so sorry you're feeling so sick....I was really hoping for your sake that you'd have an easier time of it this time around.
How crazy would that be to have twins!! I know you could do it, though. Not saying it would be easy....but you'll be great!
