Seriously I spent half my night last night reading her love story... Ladies it reads like a trashy romance novel, but really worth the read on her blog if you can spare some time.
I'm super excited because I got her cookbook from the library....
Re: Pioneer Woman Blog..
Hmm, I haven't really read much of her blog yet, I've only drooled over recipes like this one: http://thepioneerwoman.com/tasty-kitchen-blog/2010/05/a-tasty-recipe-stuffed-french-toast/
YUM!
Sounds like a good read though... I love trashy romance novels!
Wow that's a lot of blogging. I'll have to check it out when I have some down time.
But yes, I do love her blog. I bought her cookbook from Target as a giveaway for my dinner party. But alas, it was cancelled and I returned it so it didn't just sit around. Although Eric did try to convince me to keep it for myself.
I spent an entire weekend reading their love story!
Seriously, every spare second I had I was on there reading reading reading. hahaha. It's such a sweet story...
I put her cookbook on my Amazon wish list, I'm really hoping someone gets it for me for my birthday. If not then I'll probably just end up buying it myself.
I made these two recipes recently and they were both delicious.
The Mexican Lasagna one was seriously incredible. Ted loves it, I love it. I even figured out a few ways to make it healthier by using ground turkey/chicken, brown rice (or half white, half brown) and whole wheat tortillas. I also made the lasagna in two 8x8 pans and froze one, which works out so well for us. The yogurt chicken was really good also! I would definitely make it again, especially if I'm in a slump since we eat so much chicken. I used chicken breasts for ours, since that's what we keep on hand in the freezer.
I have her cook book. It's da bomb. LOL
I actually really like it. I'm going to make the Cinnamon rolls this weekend, they are so yummy. I made them a few weeks ago. Marlboro Man's Sandwich, Steak bits, Smash potato's are awesome too.
