So I have been talking to this amazing family in your town who applied with our rescue. They have wanted to adopt Biff for weeks now, and of course we just got bad news about him last week. I gave her the full candid scoop last night....and she wasn't put off. She asked if her vet could talk to the specialist we've been seeing so they could determine if this was something they would be able to manage/care for without an internal med specialist nearby (which apparently closest is about 90 min from you?).
Anyway. I am not optimistic about it, Biff is really struggling (he has been having a mild seizure pretty much non-stop for the last hour and his gums are very pale - waiting to hear back from the doc). ![]()
But it made me curious if you know the family. Is it that small a town? I can fb their name to you...
Re: Buddha
Poor puppy. That's so sad. Yeah, go ahead and send the name. It's actually not small enough that I know people outside of my circle, but Zane has lived here for 20+ years and knows a lot of people. There's a better chance he will know them than me. I'll ask for you.

This makes me so sad. I find sick doggies sad, but sick bulldogs unbearably sad.
Good development!! Very random but I actually had to take him to the emergency clinic up in Round Rock - the south location said we "had" to go there because our dr was up there this week, but I found out later they were just really busy and wanted to see if they could pawn us off on the north office.
Anyway, lots of discussion and business but as I was leaving the dr and the resident came out; the resident said just so you know.....there is a vet tech here who wants to adopt him if the MS family falls through. And then the dr said "yeah don't do anything with this dog without calling us first." YEAH!!!
I have been just heartsick over this guy, I didn't know what we were going to do. I was so excited when they came out and told me this that I forgot to pay my bill. I had to turn the car around and come back to pay. They were laughing at me when I came back.
