...for free birthday dinner/deserts? Preferably where I don't have to sign up as part of a "club".

A few years ago I got a free b-day dinner at Pietros. I'd call and see if they still do that.
That's the only one I can think of that didn't require being part of the "club".

We went to Denny's for lunch. I got a free Grand Slam. Tonight DH is making spaghetti (which is a challenge for him), I got a bottle of red wine and DH bought me a chocolate cake!
On thursday we're going out with Family. I'm thinking one of the Gilmore Collection places or Red Robin.
