I got tickets to Shakespeare in the park!
My 6th summer here in NYC and of wanting to go. I finally got tickets from the online lottery. I've been entering everyday. I never could get up to go there at 6am and wait in line all day. I almost did last week, but it was 100 degrees.
I called and told DH that I wasn't doing laundry or making dinner, I have something better to do.

It was great! When I first came to the city I used to go to Central park and lay out on the great lawn next to the pond and the castle. I hadn't been back there in awhile.
The show was great. It didn't have very famous actors in it, but a lot currently or previously had a good run on tv shows. Probably the best acting overall in a play that I've seen. Now have I really been to that many plays? No, guess not. The weather cooled off too and I found a parking spot right on central park west and 81st street. I really couldn't have parked closer. Very lucky day.
